Circles USA Mission

To inspire and equip families and communities to resolve poverty and thrive

We do this by:

Establishing Circles programs that help people to earn at least 200% of the Federal poverty guidelines
Pursuing a tipping point by helping at least 10% out of poverty through a Collective Impact approach
Providing leadership and urgency to eliminate the "cliff effects" that prevent people from leaving safety net programs

What is Circles?

The Circles Initiative supports low-income familes and individuals with the relationshiops, confidence, skills and knowledge required to reach financial stability.

We connect community members with these families and individuals on their journey out of poverty.

What is a Circle Leader?

A Circle Leader is a low-income individual or family who is committed to securing a living wage, has completed the Circle Leader Training, and is ready to share his or her story to support systemic changes within the community.

What can I expect?

  • a minimum 18-month commitment
  • weekly meetings (dinner and childcare provided)
  • 12-week training class
  • establishing a support network
  • creating an individualized plan
  • access to community resources
  • sharing talents and skills with the community
“Circles gives my family support and praises us in every step of the way!   We love our mentors and the encouragement and confidence they give us.”
