With your independent and self-motivating style, you will help oversee the VITA program during tax season. As our VITA Coordinator you will use databases, social networking and guide volunteers. In this role you will lean on analytical, inquiring and critical mind to imaginatively build recruits and clients while creatively solving problems along the way.

Salary Range: $14.41 -16.33

What you will do as our VITA Coordinator:
Coordinate and implement VITA programing services, locations, and volunteers. Serve as point of contact for VITA programing. Provide orientation and training for VITA volunteers.
During tax season, schedule will include nights and/or weekends. Outside of tax season, schedule will be based on required meetings and trainings.
Establish partnerships and secure space for financial literacy trainings. Work with IRS SPEC to order materials needed for upcoming VITA program year.
Participate in the statewide Earn it. Keep it. Save it. (EIKISI) Coalition. This will include attending meetings, submitting reports, and strategic planning for VITA implementation in Weber County.
What you need to be our VITA Coordinator:
High school diploma or equivalent; or higher
One year’s work experience in a related field
Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook and other software packages
