STATUS: *Regular/Part Time – 5 Hours a Week Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION: OWCAP is seeking motivated and energetic individuals who love working with young children, planning developmentally appropriate activities, and working with program volunteers to ensure children are safe and having fun. In coordination with the CIRCLES Coach and the Lead Youth Facilitator, individuals will adapt the CIRCLES curriculum to plan and prepare for the children.
Education and Experience:
Must have attained or be working toward High School diploma, or equivalent
Must have experience working with children in an educational and/or child care setting. Volunteer service may be included at the discretion of OWCAP.
Medical certification that employee can perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations within two weeks of hire.
Two-step TB test within 30 days of hire.
Hepatitis B series within two weeks of hire with verification of completion of the three shot series within six months of hire.
Criminal background check upon hire and every five (5) years thereafter.
Continuous CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers certifications.
Drug/Alcohol screening upon hire and when deemed necessary by the OWCAP Drug/Alcohol Policy.
