CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (CDA)
TRAINING
The Child Development Associate is
a national credential to work in the Early Childhood Profession. In the
State of Utah it qualifies you to be:

Child Care Center Director
-
Higher paid Child Care Professional
-
Higher paid Family Child Care Professional
Requirements to Receive CDA -- You must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Have 480 hours of experience working
with children within the past five years (hours can be accumulated during
training).

Have 120 hours of formal child care
education and training within the past five years .
