JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Head Start Substitute Teacher
Plan and implement learning experiences
that advance the intellectual and physical development of children to
improve the child's readiness for school. Establish and maintain a safe,
healthy learning environment; support the social and emotional development
of children; encourage the involvement of the families of children in
the Head Start program; support the development of relationships between
children and their families.
Education and Experience: Applicants
must have experience working with three to five year old children and
in dealing with children with disabilities. Must have Associates, Baccalaureate
or advance degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a degree in a
field related to Early Childhood Education (must include at least six
courses in ECE) with experience in teaching preschool children. Bachelor's
Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Salary: Depends on education and experience.
